Painter Daiva Nevardauskienė lives and works in Kaunas, Panemunė. She spent her childhood on the banks of the Nemunas River, observing water, birds, and admiring field plants and their flowers. The painter studied at the Kaunas J. Naujalis Art Secondary School, art department. She mostly painted the environment, which is why natural motifs are the most beloved.

The author finds harmony and peace in nature, which is why she seeks to convey this in her paintings as a counterpoint to environmental destruction. The author likes to paint in nature and observe the constant change, which is why each painting has its own felt story, is close to the author, and evokes associations and emotions. Since 2009, painter Daiva Nevardauskienė has been organizing personal exhibitions, participating in group exhibitions and plein airs. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Folk Artists’ Union. She has organized more than one personal exhibition in Kaunas. Vincas Kudirka Public Library branches, Kaunas Folk Artists Union “Saulutė” Gallery, Kaunas Folk Culture Center, Birštonas Museum, LSMU Emanuelis Levinas Center, Creative House “K.I.N.A.S Panemunė”, participated in international plein airs “Veprių peizažai” and the republican competitive folk art exhibition of Kaunas region “Aukso vainikas”.

She also improved her skills in the painting studio of the Kaunas District Samylų Cultural Center. In 2020 – 2025, the author participated in group exhibitions in various libraries and museums with members of the painting studio. In 2025, Daiva Nevardauskienė participated in the festival “Art Kaunas 2025″. The artist organized the exhibition “Footprints at the Bottom of the Lagoon”, which tells the story of villages that sank to the bottom of the Kaunas Lagoon. Daiva was the curator of the plein air “Drawing the Nemunas” of the Festival “Celebrate the River”, the curator of the plein air of the festival’s creative rafting trip “Nemo”. Painter Daiva Nevardauskienė presents several cycles of her paintings, created in different years and telling different stories, at the public institution “Gabrielės Art Gallery”.
